Our commercial laser press prints the jobs the economy inkjet line can’t: presentations, reports, proposals and marketing collateral on coated stocks up to 250gsm. Laser printing starts at 18¢ per side for black and white and 36¢ for colour — commercial-grade output without the commercial price tag.

How much does laser printing cost?

Prices are per A4 side, include GST, and fall as your page count grows. Your rate is based on the total page count of all files in the order.

The minimum order is 100 pages. Single-sided and double-sided rates are both per side, and double-sided printing lowers the rate further at volume.

Laser or inkjet — which should you choose?

The rule is simple: inkjet for cost, laser for quality. Text-based documents like study notes, manuals and forms are cheapest on the economy inkjet service. When the document needs to impress — or print on coated stock — the laser press is the right choice. Both services can run in the same order.

How laser pricing compares

Officeworks’ online document rate is $0.22 for black and white and $0.77 for colour per page at the 1–1,000-page tier (checked September 2026). As an example, 500 single-sided colour pages currently come to about $105 on our laser press, versus $385 at Officeworks online — before their delivery and binding charges.

On coated stock, Print Online AU charges a flat 20¢ black and white and 38¢ colour per side at 120gsm (checked September 2026). Our laser rates are at or below that at every volume tier.

Finishing, delivery and pickup

Staple binding is free for your first 30 booklets (up to 100 sheets each). Comb binding with front and back covers is available — current prices are in the binding table.

Melbourne Metro delivery is free on print orders over $40, or $5 below that. Outside Metro, shipping is rebated against your order total — $5 off per $50 in Zone 2 and $5 off per $80 in Zone 3, down to free. Prefer to collect? Pick up from our Oakleigh South warehouse once we’ve told you it’s ready; we don’t offer same-day pickup.
