Colour brings diagrams, charts and study material to life — and it doesn’t have to be expensive. We print colour documents on two services: the economy inkjet line for everyday study material, and the laser press for professional, commercial-grade colour.

How much does colour printing cost?

Prices are per A4 side, include GST, and fall as your page count grows. Your rate is based on the total page count of all files in your order.

How colour printing compares to Officeworks

Officeworks’ online colour rate is $0.77 per page at the 1–1,000-page tier (checked September 2026) — well above our colour rates, which start at 25¢ per side on inkjet and fall further as your volume grows. Their rate excludes delivery and binding; our Melbourne Metro delivery is free on orders over $40.

As an example, 500 colour pages currently cost about $90 on inkjet — around a quarter of the $385 Officeworks would charge online for the same pages before delivery.

Which colour service should you use?

Inkjet colour is for documents where colour supports the content: diagrams, charts, illustrated textbooks, colour-coded study notes and worksheets. It prints on 70–80gsm copy paper and is the cheapest way to print colour — but it’s not suitable for commercial purposes such as presentations or marketing.

Laser colour is for work that needs a professional finish: presentations, reports, proposals and marketing collateral, printed on coated and digital stocks from 120–250gsm by our commercial laser press. Sharp text, stable colour, and no smearing.

Finishing, delivery and pickup

Staple binding is free for your first 30 booklets (up to 100 sheets each). Comb binding with front and back covers is available — current prices are in the binding table.

Melbourne Metro delivery is free on print orders over $40, or $5 below that. Outside Metro, shipping is rebated against your order total — $5 off per $50 in Zone 2 and $5 off per $80 in Zone 3, down to free. Prefer to collect? Pick up from our Oakleigh South warehouse once we’ve told you it’s ready; we don’t offer same-day pickup.
